The Latvian airline airBaltic announces further expansion in Bulgaria by launching three times weekly flights and connecting the Bulgarian capital to its home base in Riga, Latvia. This marks the airline’s first route from Sofia Airport (SOF), and the launch was celebrated in a special event held together with local stakeholders, passengers, and media representatives.

Three weekly flights will be operated on this route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, offering passengers two service classes – Economy and Business Class. The ticket prices are starting from EUR 89 (Economy Class) and EUR 345 (Business Class) one-way.
