A search engine for airline tickets is now part of the Sofia Airport website sofia-airport.eu. The new functionality, placed right on the home page, is offered in partnership with globally renowned travel-tech Kiwi.com.
The new functionalities offered by Kiwi.com platform and embraced by Sofia Airport, are to support the 5-star regional transformation offering better passenger experience and enhanced world network connections.
With the search engine, which has round-the-clock support provided by Kiwi.com, passengers will be able to choose not only direct flights, but also to book unique itinerary to any final world destination combining not only different airlines but also traditional with low-cost ones.
Boarding passes available on the majority of routes and an option to add extra coverage to the itinerary allowing extra security on a trip with multiple legs and multiple connections are among indisputable advantages of the Platform. Passengers can protect their itineraries with the optional Kiwi.com Guarantee product that covers the trip in case of delay, cancellation, or schedule change.
Users can also subscribe to a periodic newsletter with great deals on air travel. Currently there are many offers at prices around 10 euros per direction from Sofia, add from the airport and the Platform.
The new service complements the options offered by Sofia Airport Travel Agency. In addition to good deals on air tickets, the agency also provides hotel accommodation worldwide and medical insurance. The agency is available to its clients without a day off online and at its offices in both terminals of Sofia Airport.
