Direct domestic flights will operate 3 times a week
The national airline Bulgaria Air will surprise all its passengers with good news for the upcoming winter season. The airline will operate its domestic route between Sofia and Burgas during the cold months of the year, providing convenient connectivity between the two cities, the opportunity for business travel and transfers to international routes from the carrier’s flight network.
The direct flights between the capital and Burgas will start on 1 December and will be operated 3 times a week – Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday until the end of the winter season in March 2025. After landing in Sofia, passengers will have connections to arriving flights from Paris, Amsterdam and Rome, as well as a convenient option to combine with the departing evening flight to Brussels. On Sunday, the evening flight to Burgas will connect with flights arriving from Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Zurich, Frankfurt, London and Berlin, while the return flight to Sofia will make connections.
The lowest price for a one-way ticket in economy class is β¬56 including hand luggage up to 10 kg and a handbag or laptop bag, free check-in and on-board catering. The comfortable conditions of the modern aircraft offer a cosy and relaxed flight, and via the national carrier the journey between the capital and the seaside city is less than an hour.
