Important information for travelers to Varna and Burgas!
If you are planning a domestic flight from Sofia Airport, it is advisable to be at the airport 2 hours before your departure. From now on, flights will be served from gates located in the inner part of Terminal 2.

FALSE ALARM FORCES PARTIAL EVACUATION OF TERMINAL 2

White powdery substance found in one of the toilets did not pose a danger

A white powdery substance was discovered in one of the toilets at Sofia Airport’s Terminal 2 earlier this evening. A partial evacuation of passengers was carried out to ensure their safety. The substance was found not to pose a danger and passengers were allowed back into the building.

Flights are operating as scheduled and there is no cause for concern, the airport added.
