Important information for travelers to Varna and Burgas!
If you are planning a domestic flight from Sofia Airport, it is advisable to be at the airport 2 hours before your departure. From now on, flights will be served from gates located in the inner part of Terminal 2.
This means that you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the shops, restaurants and business lounge located in Terminal 2 before your journey.

SOF Connect AD invites you to declare your interest to participate in a tender procedure with subject PRE-DESIGN ANALYSIS ON THE QUALITY AND RELIABILITY OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS AND SYSTEMS

PROJECT:

SURVEY AND DESIGN OF THE EXISTING INTERNAL ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS AND SYSTEMS AT SOFIA AIRPORT TO ACHIEVE QUALITY AND RELIABILITY

LOCATION:

REGULATED LAND PLOT XV, REGION 2, AREA „PARTIAL CONSTRUCTION REGULATION PLAN FOR AREA 2 SOFIA AIRPORT COMPLEX, SLATINA AREA, KREMIKONTZI REGION, Sofia Municipality

The buildings of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport are of the FIRST category in terms of electrical supply, according to the requirements of Article 44 of Ordinance No. 3 of 09.06.2004 on the layout of electrical installations and power lines. The power supply is provided at 6 kV from TPP Sofia Iztok and Iskar Industria substations, at 10 kV from Sofia Iztok substation and at 20 kV from Vrazhdebna and Iskar Industria substations.

Due to the need to update and digitize the documentation for the electricity supply and distribution networks of Sofia Airport, it is necessary to carry out the following activities:

  1. To identify the existing status of each substation (redundancy and interconnection with other substations), transformer capacities, type, section length, and allowable load on the inputs to each substation;
  2. To evaluate the condition of the transformers, propose necessary measures to enhance the security of the power supply at the airport;
  3. To evaluate the condition, settings and functionality of protections, switchgear and Automatic Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Reserve, propose necessary measures and/or activities to increase the reliability of the equipment;
  4. To evaluate the condition of main and distribution electrical panels and LV equipment, to propose mandatory and recommended measures and/or activities to reduce reliability and quality.
  5. To evaluate the condition of main power lines, to propose mandatory and recommended measures and/or activities to increase reliability and quality.
  6. To evaluate in general compliance of internal electrical installations and systems with the modern requirements of the regulatory framework and standards regarding reliability and safety.
  7. To prepare a report for pre-design analysis, giving clear information on the current state of the internal electrical installations and systems in terms of quality and reliability, as well as to describe the mandatory and recommended measures and proposals for their improvement. The described measures to serve as a scope for preparing a design assignment.
  8. To prepare a Conceptual Project for the building’s electrical installations, within the scope of the recommendations specified in the report and guidelines for the development of a Working Project.

The Tender documentation will be sent to the interested parties after signing the *Non-disclosure Agreement /NDA/– enclosed to this invitation.

*The NDA must be duly signed with a valid electronic signature by the legal representative (attorney) of the person declaring interest or by his/her explicitly authorised representative, which shall be proved by a power of attorney (international companies – please provide documents certifying the representative authority of the person/s signing the NDA and declaring an interest, in accordance with the legislation of the country of registration of the company). Those interested in participating and signing the NDA shall provide information on the Internet address where the authenticity of the electronic signature can be verified.
