Important information for travelers to Varna and Burgas!
If you are planning a domestic flight from Sofia Airport, it is advisable to be at the airport 2 hours before your departure. From now on, flights will be served from gates located in the inner part of Terminal 2.
This means that you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the shops, restaurants and business lounge located in Terminal 2 before your journey.

RYANAIR CELEBRATES 12 MILLION PASSENGERS AT SOFIA AIRPORT

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline, today (18 Sep) celebrates over 12 million passengers through Sofia Airport since it first began operations to/from Sofia in 2016. As part of Ryanair’s Summer schedule in Sofia, Ryanair is operating its biggest ever summer schedule with 4 based aircraft and 40 routes, including 5 new exciting destinations to Alicante, Bristol, Copenhagen, Skiathos and Valencia. Ryanair has invested heavily in the region, including its 4 Sofia based aircraft – an investment of $400 million and supporting over 1,300 local jobs, including 120 highly paid aviation job.

This investment into Sofia Airport reaffirms Ryanair’s commitment to being Bulgaria’s largest and most reliable airline, continuing to provide the best choice for Sofia’s citizens / visitors at Europe’s lowest fares with over 40 routes.

To celebrate this significant milestone in Sofia, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares starting from €21.99 available for booking only on Ryanair.com until Sunday, 22 September.
