SOF Connect, the operator of Sofia Airport, has announced that it has been accepted as a member of two prestigious business organizations – the French-Bulgarian Trade-Industrial Chamber and the German-Bulgarian Trade-Industrial Chamber. This strategic step underlines the company’s commitment to developing and strengthening ties with French and German business partners and provides new opportunities for air traffic development and in the airport’s infrastructure.
“We, at SOF Connect, will be actively involved in the activities of the Chambers of Commerce and will cooperate with interested companies and investors from two of the largest markets in Europe. This will be a good opportunity for a successful and sustainable development, not only for us, but also for the Bulgarian economy, of which we are a part as the strategic investor and operator of the largest international airport in Bulgaria.” said Jesús Caballero, CEO of SOF Connect.
Membership in the French Chamber and Industry allows to establish closer ties with French companies interested in the Bulgarian market and the opportunity to develop business relations. France is one of the most important trade partners of Bulgaria, and the membership of SOF Connect in this chamber will help to strengthen the company’s position at regional and international level.
With its other membership in the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, the operator of the capital’s airport will have the opportunity to connect with German companies looking to develop their business in Bulgaria. This partnership could lead to new investments in the airport’s infrastructure by international companies. Membership opens doors to one of Bulgaria’s largest and most influential economic partners – Germany.
The presence of the airport in the chambers increases its visibility in the business community and among international investors. With its memberships, SOF Connect also aims to attract new investments and create strategic partnerships with French and German companies that can contribute to the development of the Bulgarian economy, the airport and air traffic in the region.
