SOF Connect, the operator of Sofia Airport, won the Gold Award for procurement digital transformation in the organization. The award was presented at the Procurement Excellence Awards 2024 ceremony, held in Greece.
The big recognition came after the successful digital transformation of the procurement processes at SOF Connect. This is part of a large-scale implementation of an innovative ERP information system, which was realized in partnership with the Greek ICT companies OTE Group and CosmoONE. The implementation of the system resulted in the optimization of activities related to the procurement activities meaning digitalization of tenders, creation of a procurement portal, auctions options, suppliers evaluations and many other features.
