SOFIA AIRPORT WITH CHARTER FLIGHTS TO SEYCHELLES

Last evening the first charter flight from Bulgaria to the largest island of Seychelles – Mahe – took off from the capital’s airport. The exotic country is increasingly popular among Bulgarians as it is among the most easily accessible destinations in the current Covid environment.

All 175 passengers on board the first flight received a membership card “Friends of Seychelles in Bulgaria Club”, provided by Mr. Maxim Behar, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria. He greeted all the travellers saying “You are travelling to the most beautiful destination in the world. Enjoy your holiday. Take pictures, experience and share with us.”

“We are actively working to double routes from Sofia, including direct services to exotic destinations such as the Seychelles and the Maldives. Sofia Airport is more than just a runway and terminals, we aim to promote destination Bulgaria and expand the flight network daily,” said Jesus Caballero, CEO of SOF Connect.
