Sofia Airport’s summer schedule offers passengers a choice of 77 scheduled and 19 charter destinations. They are the result of SOF Connect’s programme to expand its flight network and provide convenient connections and transfer flights. In the summer programme, 21 scheduled airlines will fly from Sofia, while 6 air carriers have requested charter flights.
As soon as the new schedule comes into effect, Ryanair will begin flights to the Polish city of Wroclaw. The first aircraft on the destination will take off/land on 27 March, and there will be flights twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Ryanair has another new destination with our summer programme that is new to us. It is Rhodes. Flights to the Greek city with one of the Seven Wonders of the World start from 3 June on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Wizz air is also adding two new destinations to Sofia Airport’s summer schedule. These are scheduled flights to Yerevan and Riyadh. The Armenian capital will be served on Wednesdays and Sundays from 30 April. Direct flights to Saudi Arabia/Riyadh will also operate twice a week from 23 April, again on Wednesdays and Sundays.
In the summer schedule, Sofia Airport will welcome another new destination, namely to the Norwegian capital, Oslo. Scheduled flights will be operated by Norwegian Air Shuttle, which is a new airline for the airport. Flights to the Norwegian capital will be operated every Wednesday and Saturday from 24 June.
Sofia Airport continues its negotiations with other air carriers to provide more offers to passengers.
