Sofia Airport`s operator SOF Connect is developing a new, more user-friendly website. The first phase of the project will be completed after external user evaluation, which anyone can give electronically. The portal can be accessed at https://devnew.sofia-airport.orbisds.com/bg/ and suggestions and comments can be sent to public@sof-connect.com.
In contrast with the previous version, the new site has a better information structure, a completely redesigned layout and provides more functionality. In addition to up-to-date information on departing and arriving flights, transport, shopping opportunities and travel rules, passengers of Sofia Airport will soon be able to book a parking place or shop online from the airport’s duty-free shops.
The website will also provide more advertising opportunities for companies to present their activities. In the next phases of development, a separate section about Sofia as a tourist destination will be added.
“An airport’s website is the first step of passenger’s user experience. It is also the place where everyone will be able to follow the upcoming development of Sofia Airport,” said Michail Senis, Digital Transformation Director of SOF Connect, who has many years of experience working for Munich Airport.
