The complete digital transformation of Sofia Airport’s operations over the next few years will encompass the airport’s processes, infrastructure, core systems and software. SOF Connect’s ICT masterplan, created in partnership with Munich Airport, was presented by Michalis Senis at a meeting with IT businesses last night organised by the Bulgarian Information Technology Association. Members of the association showed a keen interest in the changes at the airport and the upcoming software, systems, and systems integration implementation projects.
“Not much has been invested in information and communication technology at the airport in the last 10 years, but this is also an opportunity to jump directly to the state-of-the-art IT solutions. We have an ambition to be a five-star regional airport within 5 years and digital transformation is one of the first steps to achieve this goal,” said Michalis Senis in his presentation, Digital Transformation Director.
All procurement related to the development and improvement of airport services can be found on the Sofia Airport website.
