Important information for travelers to Varna and Burgas!
If you are planning a domestic flight from Sofia Airport, it is advisable to be at the airport 2 hours before your departure. From now on, flights will be served from gates located in the inner part of Terminal 2.
This means that you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the shops, restaurants and business lounge located in Terminal 2 before your journey.

TAROM RECONNECTS SOFIA AND BUCHAREST

The Romanian flag carrier is the next airline resuming regular flights to Sofia International Airport. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Tarom has ceased flying the route more than a year ago.

“The flights between the two Balkan capitals are of great importance as they contribute to the development of tourism, trade and business relations, as well as strengthen Bulgaria – Romania good relations”, noted Jesus Caballero, Chief Executive Director of SOF Connect.

In July Tarom operates Sofia – Bucharest on Mondays and Thursdays. A two more flights weekly will be added in August – on Wednesdays and Fridays.
