Important information for travelers to Varna and Burgas!
If you are planning a domestic flight from Sofia Airport, it is advisable to be at the airport 2 hours before your departure. From now on, flights will be served from gates located in the inner part of Terminal 2.
This means that you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the shops, restaurants and business lounge located in Terminal 2 before your journey.

THE THIRD EDITION OF SOFIA AIRCAREER PORT IS PART OF THE HIVE EXPO FOR THE FIRST TIME

SOF Connect, the operator of Vasil Levski Sofia Airport, and partners from the aviation sector are meeting for the third consecutive year at Sofia AirCareer Port – career fair for those searching for job opportunities and professional development in the aviation sector. In 2025, the forum will be part of Hive expo for the first time—one of the biggest career events in Bulgaria, organized by Tuk-Tam. The fair will take place on September 17 at the Inter Expo Center, with seven leading companies from the aviation sector presenting at the Sofia AirCareer Port stand – SOF Connect, Avolta, BULATSA, Fly2sky, Latecoere, Lufthansa Technik Sofia and SSP.

A special lecture on the topic “Gen Z at the Gate: Shaping Tomorrow’s Airport” will be delivered by Jesus Caballero – CEO of SOF Connect on Sep 17th from 11:30 to 12:00.
During the lecture, he will talk about how the company attract young generations both as travellers and as future part of the team.

“Sofia AirCareer Port has become a platform that connects young talent with the aviation industry and shows them how diverse and inspiring the opportunities it offers are. We are very pleased that this year the exhibition is part of Hive, one of the largest career events in Bulgaria. This year’s star guest at the stand will be pilot Mario Bakalov, who will talk about his path to success from 12:45 to 15:00. Mario will talk about his childhood dream and how he made aviation history in Bulgaria by landing the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus
A-380, in Sofia in 2016.
