Wages have increased by 14.5% but not less than BGN 220. The total increase in the remuneration and benefits package reaches 20%
Negotiations between the employer SOF Connect and the trade unions were successfully concluded today. The new collective labor agreement will enter into force on 1 April 2023 and will be valid for the next two years. Under the agreement, the basic salaries of airport employees will increase by 14.5% from the beginning of the month, while the total wage and benefit package increases by 20%.
It should be recalled that the airport employees receive additional social benefits such as medical insurance, higher remuneration for the class of seniority, food and gift vouchers, free public transport cards, additional holidays.
“We believe that social dialogue is the right approach to follow for the second year in a row and this has allowed us to reach an agreement after months of negotiations. We are improving the conditions for the team, and this is good news, but we rely on the unions for support in the organizational change that lies ahead,” said Anelia Dimova, Chief Human Resources Officer at SOF Connect, at today’s round of negotiations.
